In case you are stuck for ideas for your full page image for the booklet, here is an assignment you can use for inspiration. Use your favorite program or both programs.
Assignment Proverbs!
Illustrate a Proverb from any nationality or culture. Involve the text of the Proverb in the actual illustration. Using a letter or a words as the basis or at least a major factor in the composition of the illustration. Look to Medieval styles of illuminated Manuscripts or Childrens books for examples of the variety of things that can be done using text and art as one image. Remember this is an illustration so while the text should be important, the artwork you create, the composition, color, and all of the other factors that go into a strong illustration still apply.
Creativity in the interpretation of the Proverb as well as execution will be factors in this project!
